What’s on: Easter

We’re counting down the days until Easter, not only because we get to eat an abundance of chocolate, but because several of our favourite Cornish attractions are hosting seasonal events for all the family.

Our glorious gardens will also be bursting with colour as we welcome the new season, and we can all enjoy a picnic in the sunshine on one of Cornwall’s many beaches.

Armed Forces Day, the national event hosted by Cornwall

Armed Forces Day is one of the UK’s most important annual events. It’s a day to celebrate and thank the military community for everything that they do to keep us safe. This year this national event will be hosted in Cornwall.

Falmouth will be the centrepiece for the country’s celebrations (June 24 & June 25), with more Armed Forces Day events taking place around the world.

Heligan Night Garden

Something lovely to get you in the festive spirit.

At this time of the year, it is difficult to get excited about a night out. With the cost-of-living crisis looming over us all and world affairs which are sometimes too scary to contemplate.

If, like me, things have been a little overwhelming recently, then let me share a little secret.

I recently visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan for an evening of what can only be described as a little slice of heaven. The light displays for their current event, Heligan Night Garden are truly something to behold.
