The settlement of Trefranck was first recorded in 1276. Trefranck is a sheep and deer farm of 340 acres. In addition there are many other animals including ponies, dogs, cats, and chickens, so there are always lovely fresh free range eggs.

There is always lots of wildlife around the farm including rabbits, foxes, bats, owls and buzzards. From your cottage you can walk along the country lanes and plunge deep into Celtic Cornish History. Alongside St Clether Church you can follow the footpath through fresh green bracken and the fragrant golden yellow gorse which attracts butterflies and birds.
