Hidden in a peaceful valley, Jopes Mill and Lodge is a unique setting for your Cornwall holiday, set amongst 5 acres of private riverside gardens and woodland only four miles from the beach.
The Mill has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard to create a luxury two bedroom holiday cottage. The Lodge is a former artist's studio providing stunning open plan accommodation and a covered veranda overlooking the river.

Jopes Mill
The mill was renovated in 2020 and provides luxury accommodation on three floors.
Ground floor
- The original mill workings provide a spectacular backdrop for the dining room, with access to a private terrace.
- Newly fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge/freezer, etc.
First Floor
- The lounge is in the original milling room and has two pairs of millstones and an oak beamed ceiling. It has a wood burning stove and a plentiful supply of wood for cozy nights in. It also has a sofabed for flexibility or additional guests - please enquire.
- The first-floor bedroom is double height and can be arranged with a king size double bed or two singles – it has a skylight which floods the room with light.
- Shower room with WC and washbasin.
Second Floor
- The second-floor bedroom has a king size double bed and exposed beams, with views down to the river and across the woods.
- Bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin
The mill has full central heating, superfast wifi and TV with Netflix, etc.
A home from home...
Jopes Lodge is a luxury open plan riverside studio which sleeps 2 in a double bed. The covered terrace overlooks the River Seaton with a backdrop of the beautiful wooded valley.
The main space has hardwood flooring and measures about 8m by 4m. The living area has a comfortable sofa, wood burner and internet connected TV with Netflix, etc. There is a fully fitted kitchen with an electric hob, built in oven, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. The sleeping area had a double bed with lovely satin striped linen and storage. The bathroom is tiled and has a large shower.
Guests have full access to five acres of riverside gardens and woodland, including fire pits and barbecue.
The Lodge has superfast wifi.
