Treganhoe Farm has been farmed by the James Family for nearly 100 years. For much of that time the farm was predominantly dairy but the cattle you will find at Treganhoe now are mainly beef animals, along with some chickens and sheep.

A Feather Down Farms holiday is an off-grid adventure as our farms don’t have electricity or wi-fi. Disconnect from gadgets and devices, make memories cooking on a log burning stove, and feel the magic reading bedtime stories by oil lamp.

Each morning there's a decision to take - shall we head to a beautiful beach to the north or a beautiful beach to the south? Don’t worry, both are less than half hour’s drive away. Treganhoe is set within quiet and beautiful surroundings yet is only 1 mile from the A30 for easy access both to the farm and also to nearby beaches and other attractions. The picture postcard pretty St Ives is close by as are Penzance, the iconic St Michaels Mount and the stunning outdoor Minack Theatre. There couldn't be a better base for a family holiday in Cornwall.

Wake up from your comfy beds in the morning and give the farmers a hand feeding the sheep and pigs - they love your attention. Enjoy the Cornish sunset whilst you grill some home cooked food from the well-stocked honesty shop or locally produced meat or fish in the fire pit outside your canvas hideaway.

We believe in simplicity, but rest assured you will not be sacrificing luxury when staying in our canvas lodges. At 45m2, our spacious lodges are placed in stunning locations and will meet your need for modern comfort and craving to be close to nature. The Canvas Lodge is suitable for 6 people, 5 adults and 1 child up to 12 years old. Our interior features a fully equipped kitchen with a wood-stove, a living/dining area, outdoor area with BBQ, and three sleeping areas with high-quality mattresses, pillows, bedding and fluffy duvets!
