Welcome to Polmanter Touring Park Self Catering
Welcome to Polmanter Touring Park, a five star family camping and caravan park with luxury self catering accommodation set in stunning surroundings within walking distance of the picturesque fishing town of St Ives.
With spectacular views of the Cornish coastline from St Ives Bay to Trevose Head some 40 miles away, Polmanter is an ideal base from which to explore the West Cornwall peninsula. All the family can get together to create precious memories, whether you’re experienced campers, touring for the first time or prefer comfort to canva in our self catering accommodation.
In addition to our five star touring facilities, we offer four luxury self catering properties. Choose between our sophisticated, spacious hot tub cottages, Senara and Morwenna and modern, stylish apartments Kerenza and Demelza.
For families of up to 6, Senara and Morwenna are a real treat, both with private gardens and a hot tub! Senara can be found in the heart of Polmanter, and is the most recent addition to our self catering portfolio, after launching in June 2022 following a complete renovation. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a brand new open plan kitchen and living room that features an electric glass fireplace, it's a real show stopper! Our other cottage Morwenna is located at the entrance to our site, and is a two-storey property with an open plan living room and kitchen on the ground floor and two en-suite bedrooms found on the first floor. To accommodate larger groups, there is a day bed which can be used as two additional single beds if required.

For families of four, Kerenza and Demelza are perfect for a sophisticated Cornish holiday with two bedrooms and family bathroom, featuring Bluetooth speakers to stream your favourite music whilst unwinding in the bath. Enjoy the open plan living room and kitchen, along with views across the fields and out towards the Atlantic. Demelza has additional accessible features, including an adapted bathroom.
All four of our properties are dog friendly and include parking for up to 2 cars with EV charging points. From a practical point of view, you'll find dishwashers, washing machine, tumble dryer and basic cleaning equipment in both the cottages and apartments.
Unlike the touring park, our self catering accommodation is open all year round, allowing you to experience St Ives throughout all the different seasons.
If you are visiting during the touring season, take advantage of everything the park has to offer. Simply relax in our beautifully kept grounds, making use of our heated outdoor swimming pool with sunloungers available. Burn off some energy with the kids with the endless activities to keep them entertained from the tennis courts and putting green to the games room and outdoor play areas. For those rainy days, we have an indoor soft play area with a climbing wall suitable for children up to 12 years old.
After a busy day at the beach, why not let us take care of dinner at The Stable Bar and Restaurant. Take a seat in our large conservatory or cosy bar and enjoy delicious home-cooked food using the best produce the local area has to offer along with a refreshing Cornish beer, cider or gin! Breakfast and lunch available* too. The Stable Bar also hosts the popular entertainment evenings* in peak season.
Visit the town of St Ives, by walking or using our Shuttle Bus*, which offers a range of interests for the visitor. It’s quaint cobbled streets, flanked by picturesque fishermen’s cottages, reveal it’s seaside heritage. It is a haven for artists, who flock to capture the unique light, the melting sunsets and clusters of charming fishing boats. You can browse their work in the town’s many galleries.
*Available during peak season. Please check facility opening times and availability with Reception when making a booking.
