The Milky Way Adventure Park
This fantastic all-weather day out is the only attraction in the South West that’s won a coveted TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award for the past 3 years - and when you visit you'll find out why!
All the fun plus the rides, shows and play areas are included in the entrance fee at The Milky Way with no hidden extras, and it’s great for parents as well as kids - from babies to teens. With over 110,000 sq feet of indoor fun & acres of outdoor activities, this is a truly all-weather, out of this world experience!
NEW for 2019 is the park’s newest addition – Ziggy’s Blast Quest. Join Ziggy and help save planet Earth by piloting a Cyber Scooter and using your Blasteroid laser to destroy rogue asteroids and meteors before they destroy the planet.
Last year’s new addition was the exciting Gravity Rider – at around 30ft tall, this two lane donut slide guarantees a fast, fun and exhilarating ride that’s totally unique to the region. Then enjoy the hair-raising drop of the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster, and take on the huge death slides in the Time Warp – the area’s biggest indoor play area, with assault courses and slides built for adults as well as children.
There’s plenty for smaller adventurers too. The innovative Little Stars play centre is designed specifically for babies to pre-schoolers, with multi-level soft play area, sensory room for babies, a dressing up area, roll play pizzeria complete with kitchen, tables and food to stimulate imaginative play – and even a pretend carwash with ride-on cars. The Milky Way is also home to the Jumping Jupiters - one of the UK’s largest bouncing pillows, plus a smaller pillow just for children under five and accompanying adults.
One of the most popular attractions are the Droid Destroyer dodgems which guarantee a bumping good time for everyone, with special gentle rides for smaller visitors. They’ll also love the gentler areas of Time Warp.
A popular addition is an amazing display of Sci-Fi memorabilia - one man’s vast private collection of characters, collectibles and fan art from film and TV … from Daleks to Darth Vader!
To wind down, visitors can take a leisurely trip on the Milky Way railway, and then sit back and enjoy the shows, which include Merlin from Britain’s Got Talent with his fun-packed family show, and breath-taking displays from the North Devon Bird of Prey Centre. The park also has a 1,000 seat indoor arena, so the show goes on whatever the weather! Alongside this, there’s plenty to try your hand at including golf, archery and laser shooting for all the family.
Your adventure awaits … are you ready?
