    The Joys of 'no dig' with Charles Dowding

    We are pleased to announce that Charles Dowding will be holding a day long workshop of talks and practical sessions at Boconnoc teaching the 'no dig' gardening method that he is famous for. Tickets will be on sale soon.

    EMBRACING AUTUMN – A FLORAL CLASS

    Join Becca Stuart from The Garden Gate Flower Co. here on the beautiful Boconnoc Estate where she will teach you how to create an autumn bouquet from flowers that she has homegrown and foliage that you will have the opportunity to forage from the estate.

    October sees the light change and the garden starts to relax into winter. We will be embracing the last of the Dahlias and will be discussing which varieties will be good to grow in your own gardens, be it in flower beds or pots.

    The Stable Yard will be our creative space, lit by candle light and opened to the natural light.

    All materials for the event will be provided. The workshop is a perfect activity for you do with a friend or family member, get together, share a fun morning creating and reconnecting with nature.

    Tea, coffee and delicious homemade bakes will be provided.

    Friday 20th October

    A DEER RANGER FOR A DAY – MORNING SESSION

    Join us for a super exciting Deer Safari with our expert ranger Ian Berry and become a Boconnoc Deer Ranger for the day!

    On Friday 20th October hop aboard the tractor trailer for a fun ride to the Boconnoc Deer Park where you can learn all about the beautiful deer that live on the estate.

    Our ranger Ian will teach you about the important tasks of a deer ranger, from poo detecting to protecting the habitat of these magnificent creatures.

    Afterwards families can take part in craft activities in our stable yard, spend some time together in our games room or indulge in a tasty snack from our on-site cafe!

    This event is recommended for children aged 12 and under, but all are welcome.

    Children under 16 will need to be supervised by an adult at all times.

    We will meet at the Stable Yard at 10am, back for around 12pm.

    Refreshments will be available and you are encouraged to bring a your own picnic to enjoy in the Stable Yard after the safari.

    Adult – £15

    Child- (6-15y) £7.50

    Under 5’s – free

    Our trail will lead you through the beautiful gardens where handcrafted willow sculptures of mischievous Cornish Piskeys and legendary dragons will spark wonder and delight.

    Fairy wings, dragon outfits and magical wands at the ready!
