    Easter Egg Hunt

Over the Easter holidays, join us for a timeless adventure at our Victorian seaside hotel. With sub-tropical private gardens and views towards glimmering seas, hop to The Falmouth for a delightful Easter egg hunt in Cornwall.

Our children’s Easter egg hunt is inspired by Beatrix Potter’s family holiday at The Falmouth in 1892, where she penned her earliest known picture letter. Her beloved books, such as The Tale of Peter Rabbit, continue to delight generations of children around the world. So why not bring your little bunnies along for an exciting Easter egg hunt at our big house by the sea?

Collect your map from our friendly reception team. Follow the trail to discover Beatrix Potter-inspired clues hidden around our ornate gardens. Once you’ve completed the hunt, return to reception to claim your prize.

Every child who completes the map will receive a mini chocolate egg and be entered into our prize draw. One lucky bunny will win a children’s afternoon tea at The Falmouth and a Peter Rabbit book.

    Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival

The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival is returning for another unforgettable year, with our iconic seaside hotel taken at the heart of it all as a main stage for 2025.

Since 1865, The Falmouth has been a landmark hotel on the Cornish coast. This year, we’re thrilled to host an exciting line-up of sea shanty performers, from local favourites to international acts, as part of the festival’s town-wide festivities. With our stunning seaside location and deep-rooted maritime heritage, our hotel provides the perfect setting for this vibrant celebration of music, history, and community.

The Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival is one of Europe’s largest maritime music events, drawing thousands of visitors to experience the stirring harmonies and lively atmosphere. Across multiple venues, including key sponsors The Greenbank, performers will keep Cornwall’s seafaring traditions alive with authentic shanties and contemporary folk songs.
