Truro Farmers Market

Established in 1999, Truro Farmers Market is a thriving twice-weekly market showcasing local food and drink, art and craft, in the heart of Cornwall's capital city. Discover a feast for the senses beneath the green and white striped stalls.

    At the market

Food-loving locals, spell-bound visitors, and acclaimed chefs all delight in shopping at Truro Farmers Market, where Cornwall's artisan producers really go to town. You will find them in the heart of the city on Lemon Quay every Wednesday and Saturday.

Discover colourful displays of organic fruit and veg, fresh seafood, locally-reared meats, inspiring store cupboard ingredients, and a plethora of sweet treats. Small-batch drinks producers provide everything you need for indulging at home, from craft cider to handmade beer, local wines and award-winning spirits.

The market is a real community, and the friendly traders need little encouragement to tell you their stories, and help spark new culinary adventures.

You'll also marvel at the many talented makers at market. The variety and quality of craftspeople is testament to Cornwall’s creative spirit, and their skills are clear to see, be it in willow weaving, ceramics, or silverware.

Amongst the rich tapestry of sustainable, ethically made and locally sourced products which appear from week to week, you might discover unique jewellery, vintage clothing, handmade children’s toys, natural bath and beauty products, beautiful home and fashion accessories, salvaged curios, original paintings and photography.

The market is the perfect place to pick up gifts or mementos from your trip to Cornwall, and the seasonal 'BIG' markets make superb days out.

    Opening Hours

In January, the market runs every Saturday from 9am - 3pm. Then, from February onwards, the market is held twice-weekly every Wednesday and Saturday from 9am until 5pm. Keep and eye on our events page for information on seasonal specials!
