Koru Kayaking (Helford)

Koru's 'Frenchman's Creek' Kayak Adventure is along the Helford River and creeks, including Frenchman's Creek, the inspiration for Daphne du Maurier's novel of the same name. Launching from the 4 star Budock Vean Hotel foreshore we kayak along the Helford River past banks filled with ancient oak forest, see the Royal Duchy oyster farms and the shipwreck on Frenchman's Creek! An abundance of wildlife with herons, egrets, kingfishers and even the occasional seal spotted!

No experience necessary, tandem sit on top kayaks and groups from 2-8 people (more spaces available for private groups).

Koru Kayaking also offer trips of the rugged north coast at St Agnes. The North Coast Kayak Adventure launches from Trevaunance Cove, St Agnes and they guide you along the St Agnes coastline, a UNECSO World Heritage Site, through caves archways carved out during the Cornish Mining era. This coastline, they believe was the inspiration for Winston Graham's Poldark, which was written at the next bay!
