The exhibition challenges long-standing myths and pre-conceptions about tattooing when it comes to class, gender and age, whilst at the same time celebrating the astonishingly rich artistic heritage of tattooing in the UK.
This is the last chance to see this highly acclaimed exhibition, which not only celebrates the rich artistic hertiage of tattooing in the UK, but challenges the long-standing myths and pre-conceptions about tattooing.
Tattoo's key artworks, previously displayed in 2017, returning this year include the '100 Hands', a wall of tattooed silicone arms, featurning the original designs of the 100 leading tattoo artists in the UK; a display of modern Tahitian tattooing; a celebration of the sailor tattoo and much more!
Also, brand new comissions celebrating a wider and more diverse range of tattoo arists, have been added since the original display.
