Fowey Festival of Art & Literature
The Festival has been postponed to 25 September – 3 October 2020
We are currently working closely with all the artists that were due to perform at the Festival in May and we are delighted that many have been able to reschedule their diaries to September. We hope to have the final schedule of events ready to launch by the end of March, at which point we will be in a position to inform you about arrangements for existing ticket holders. Online booking will reopen at the end of March for ticket sales to the Festival in September.
Our Festival is a self-funding charity, staged and supported by volunteers and cancelling it would have put any future Fowey Festivals at risk. We are delighted that we have been able to secure the dates in late September and we thank you for your patience and continued support while we finalise the arrangements.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Festival in September.
March 17th, 2020
Taking place in various locations in Fowey, Cornwall’s premier literary festival will once again feature a diverse range of authors, speakers, musicians, and artists.
Organised by the du Maurier Festival Society, it is staged in the beautiful riverside town of Fowey, which was home to Daphne du Maurier and Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch and also asociated with Wind in the Willows author Kenneth Grahame.
A highlight of the regional calendar and one of the most significant festivals in the UK, promises an equally impressive line-up of literary and musical talent at a wide range of choice locations in and around one of Cornwall’s most scenic riverside settings.
It is a must do event with something for everyone, not just book lovers. Come and enjoy, have fun and laugh together. Be inspired! Keep up to date with developments and look out for the 2020 programme at www.foweyfestival.com
