“March is the best month in the year for mussels, any time is good for proper beer brewed by people who love what they do. A big marquee next to our lovely pub with some great bands, a selection of 30 beers and some of my favourite mussel dishes; what could be a better combination on a weekend by the coast in Cornwall.” Rick Stein
The annual Beer & Mussel Festival at The Cornish Arms in St Merryn is taking place over the weekend of 16th, 17th and 18th March. Free to attend, and with plenty of parking, you can look forward to sampling over 30 different beers and ciders from both local and national breweries, alongside four mussel dishes, live music over the three days and the final round of 6nations matches on a big screen too. Plus cookery demos from Jack Stein, Nick Evans and Stuart Pate and book signings with Rick himself on the Saturday and Sunday. Please note the schedule below is subject to change.
