A middle-aged Irish couple, John and Maureen Mackey, bring a young couple, Susan and Larry, to the suburban Boston home where the MacKeys are caretakers.  Susan and Larry have recently begun to date, and the Mackeys approached them at a restaurant due to Susan’s resemblance to a dead woman, Veronica.

Murder She Didn’t Write: Degrees of Error Theatre
 
A classic murder mystery is created on the sopt in this ingenious and hilarious show from Bristol Improv’s Theatre resident Company.  Each night an original murder mystery is created based on audience suggestions.  Miss Crimson poisoned in the parlour? Mr Gold exploded by a canon in Sainsbury’s? You decide! But will you guess whodunit?

Roche Brass Band and Sterts Singers
 
Join us for toe tapping, brass band fun!  Local favourites, Roche Brass, return to play some wonderful music.  Formed in 2012, Roche maintain the tradition of brass band music, encouraging local youngsters to get involved.
Sterts Singers meet weekly from September to Easter to perform a diverse range of music, including show songs, gospel, folk and pop classics with Musical Director Jane Warwick.  The Singers perform regularly in venues across Cornwall and Devon.

FOS Brothers

"Growing up in Belfast in the 70s the FOS Brothers fuse an eclectic mix of Floydie, Genesis and Horslips with trad Irish sensibilities, into something really different.  Add drums, samples and percussion to soaring acoustic guitars and you have an act  that will entrance any audience."

For the Love of Shakespeare

An "Open-Mic" event for all the Shakespeare lovers out there. Simply chose your favourite Shakespeare (15 lines max) and come along to perform on Sterts stage, or simply watch and listen.  Bring your friends and family, all ages welcome.

Plymouth Symphony Orchestra

The Plymouth Symphony Orchestra's summer concert includes Rossini's delightful overture to The Barber of Seville and the rousing march from Verdi's Aida. Also in the programme are the Suite for Bizet's Carmen and Glazunov's sparkling 5th Symphony, composed in 1895 and known as the "The Heroic".

Saturday Night Dance

A vibrant showcase from professional dance artists and companies, curated by Lois Taylor and celebrating the life of local dance artist, Marcia Pook.
Expect a playful, adventurous and entertaining collection of creative dance works, which put together, make and evening to excite and enjoy.  We are delighted to include in the programme, widely acclaimed Cape Alley by the Trash Dollys  described as "mesmerising, innovative and highly entertaining.

Youth Dance
Our youth dance platform presents the very best youth dance companies and fizzes with the energy and talent of local young dancers.
Marcia Pook.  A local dance artist who lived life to the full working with national and internationally acclaimed dance companies.
With support from her husband Chris Kasamias, Arts Council England, The Hall for Cornwall and local wholesaler Puckator enables us to give young and experienced dancers the opportunity to share their  creativity and work with the local community, where Marcia first discovered her passion for performance and dance.
