Coverack is a picturesque Cornish fishing village with a small sand and pebble beach on the eastern coast of the Lizard peninsula. Dogs must be kept on leads.

West Cornwall > Lands End
A real 'locals' beach, off the beaten track and tricky to find without local knowledge. Portheras Cove is on the northern edge of West Cornwall between Morvah and Pendeen. The cove is sandy and located at the end of a small valley.

South Coast > The Roseland
Good Beach Guide Recommended 2015 - Popular family beach, south facing about a mile long and sandy that joins with Carne beach at low tide. Dog-friendly all year.

North Coast > Bude
Good Beach Guide Recommended 2015. When the tide is at its lowest it's possible to take in the spectacular coastline between Bude and Sandymouth by walking the two miles along the beach.
